Friend #1 : Herbalife Shapeworks

Note: Friend = Investment = $$ Gone

*drum rolls...* Introducing my first set of friends... Herbalife!

Not too sure how many of you have heard about this product. Obviously i didn't until recently.
But i figured, if Herbalife can sponsor L.A Galaxy and Beckham don't mind wearing the brand on him, the product should be rather safe. (I know...the power of Becks.. everything sells).

Of course, to give myself some credit, I spend a considerable amount of time researching the product on the net. Apparently they're everywhere. Don't believe me? Look at the Google Ads on the left ----->; Click on some of them, quite a few of those slimming ads are actually Herbalife retailers.

Basically, Herbalife is a nutritional supplement, not a diet supplement entirely.

I've been taking Herbalife consistently since end-November. 2 of my regular meals are replaced (ie: breakfast and lunch) with Herbalife. It actually tastes quite good! My personal favorites are the chocholate and the cappucinno flavour... taste as good as Starbucks to me...

I know, replacing 2 meals a day can sound like a torture to many.. I was skeptical at first. But to my surprise, I don't get the hunger pangs at all, or feel the least bit weak and wobbly because I'm denying myself solid food. I can still exercise and function like the usual me, except having more free time now that I can spend the full lunch hour in the office.. doing personal stuff. (updating this blog for instance).

Does herbalife works?! Big question. I'm not paid to say this.. but.. the answer is YES!

I've shed close to 9kgs since I first started in November. 9kgs is a big deal for me..The reading I get from my scale is easily by far the lightest weight for me in the past 10 years.

Going on a long-term supplement regime need LOADS of determination.. and because I'm gonna be a bride pretty soon..that's why I'm more determined this time around than I ever have been in my past "Project Slim Ida"..

You must be sure that you don't take anything after you have the supplement... or else it will backfire and you'd gain weight instead of losing! (Like i said earlier, Herbalife is a health supplement, not a diet supplement, so some people use it to gain weight too with different procedure of intake)

I've been a good gal so far..and is happy to lose more than 1 kg consistently every month. Most of my wardrobe can't fit me anymore.. Most of 'em are TOO LOOSE.. oh how I love that feeling.. TOO LOOSEEEEE!

My verdict: HERBALIFE WORKS..
Action: Will continue with it till I reach my target weight of 53 kg....

The journey begins..

Hi,

My name is Ida and I'm soon gonna realise my lifetime dream of marrying the perfect (oh wells.. who's kidding.. ), almost- perfect man and start a family after 9 years of stable relationship.

As estatic as I am, I am also very PARANOID. Reason being, I have never EVER (day dreams apart) fit in the category of 'slim' in my entire life! Sad, but true, I've been called sinful nicknames since young, Fat Sister, Pork Leg, Oil Tank, Fat So... i don't even want to recall those painful memories.

Thank God I got pass those stages miraculously without any bloodshed or murder (i could have pull/slit/cut/mince those evil tongue... but i didn't wanna dirty my hands *grin*). I am always rather confident in my ability to attract, albeit the physical appearance. I know I'm kind-hearted and fun enough to be with. So those out there who are disturbed by your outer appearance, don't sweat. Those who only appreciate what they see, and deny themselves a chance to know you better, they're not even worth your attention to begin with! So move on.

The BIG DAY is in November 2009. And I have embarked on my weight lost attempt since January . With my dream gown hanging in my head. i Finally...for the first time is really TRYING and is VERY DETERMINED to look my best...

You know what i mean..
ie: "I need to lose weight" (Thoughts)
vs
"ohhh... this cheese cake is soooo heavenly..i want more~
*chomp**stuff**chomp* (Action) ..

Sounds familiar anyone?

I treat this blog as an avenue to keep track on my battle with those extra ounces of unwanted fat on me. I’m keeping tab on my endeavour in weight loss, methods, & progress (hopefully) with those who are currently fighting the same battle.

This is NOT a paid blog. I'm merely stating the products/methods I’m currently using & share my two cents’ worth of what would possibly work..& what wouldn't. Let’s shed the weight together!
